On November 18, 2011, Ashley McDonald (CBS8) met Pastor Patrick Okabe who was visiting Billy Irvin of Faith Radio WLBF 89.1FM Montgomery. Pastor Okabe had come to Alabama to learn & share about his Christian Radio Ministry -Faith Radio Uganda. Pastor Okabe also operates an orphanage of 700 children.
He invited Ashley to come to Mbale, Uganda and broadcast on his Faith Radio Station and love on the kids in the orphanage.
Join us in praying for Ashley to Uganda. Pray for her safety and for God to use her to be an encouragement to the people at Impact Ministries Uganda, and a voice of God’s Word on Faith Radio Uganda.
Ashley is in Uganda April 7-21 and one of her goals is to feed the 700 children while she is there. This will take $1 per day per child (700 x 14) ~ $10,000.

Many people in our area make mission trips, but this one has had a lot of “media coverage” and we pray this extra covers will be used by God to allow many others to listen and say “If Ashley can go share Christ on a mission trip….. I can too!”
This afternoon , she spoke in a 30 min. interview on Faith Radio all about her trip, including the Bible messages she delivered on Faith Radio Uganda and how God touched her life as she touched the life of others.
