Mark Williams, President

     Mark Williams serves as the President of the Board of Director of Faith Radio.
     Williams is married to the former Eegee White and they have four children: Claire, Erin, Layne and Mark, Jr.
     Williams has his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Tennessee and his J.D. from the University Of Alabama School of Law. Williams is a practicing attorney in Montgomery, Alabama.
     Converted to Christianity as an adult, Faith Radio played a significant role in discipling Williams in the Christian faith. He is currently serving on the board as President of Faith Radio. He has served on the Board since 2001.
     Williams is a member of First Baptist Church of Montgomery where he teaches Bible to adults.

 

 

Glen Cook, Vice-President

     Glenn Cook and his wife, Cindy, live in Andalusia. They have two sons, Glenn, Jr., who is an aerospace engineer and, David, a physical therapist. Glenn says his sons, “are special guys to us.” Glenn graduated form Auburn University in 1961 as an electrical engineer and then worked for Westinghouse Electric Corporation 11 years. He then owned and operated Quality Electric Company 11 years and eventually retired from Alabama Electric Cooperative in 2003 after 17 years.
Glenn serves with Gideons International and also serves on the Board of Directors at Faith Radio representing 91.5 FM Andalusia and the south Alabama area. Glenn became involved with Faith Radio after lightning struck the 91.5 FM transmitter and he volunteered to get it back on the air. Glenn says, “I needed the source of inspiration and guidance which Faith Radio was providing in my daily life.”

 

 

Shan Stallings, Secretary

     Shan Stallings and her husband Rush are both natives of Montgomery and have been married for 33 years. They have two grown daughters and two wonderful sons-in-law. Shan has recently retired from a 30-year career as an elementary special education teacher. About Faith Radio, Shan says, "I love how Faith Radio has given me more opportunities for personal times of worship, especially when I'm away from home. The teachings of various programmers have deepened my Biblical knowledge and sweetened my walk with Christ." Shan and Rush attend First Baptist Church in Montgomery where they serve as first-grade Sunday School teachers.  

 

 

 

John Lucas, Treasurer

     John Lucas has served on the Board of Directors for Faith Radio for several years and is currently holding the position of Treasurer.  Christian radio has been an essential element in John’s spiritual growth for many years and he is excited about being a part of the ministry at Faith Radio.  John is the Director of Financial Management and Comptroller for the Program Executive Office for Business and Enterprise Systems at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex and holds a BBA in accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a MS in management from Troy State University.  John’s wife, Sandra, is currently a Political Consultant and Photojournalist/Paralegal with the Alabama Army National Guard.  John and Sandra currently attend Church of the Highlands.  They own a pair of Yamaha Roadstar motorcycles and enjoy exploring God’s creation together at every opportunity.

 

 

John Albritton, Jr., Director

    John Albritton, Jr. and his wife, Ann, have two sons, John and James and one daughter, Laura. They also have two daughter-in-laws, Dabney and Carey and one son-in-law, Travis. He graduated from Vanderbilt University and JD School of Law at the University of Alabama. He also has an Honorary PhD from Huntingdon College. He is a retired banker and attorney and has contributed valuable time to Faith Radio by being on the Board of Directors at Faith Radio for over 20 years. He has served as Chairman and Secretary. He and his wife attend Trinity Presbyterian Church where he serves as an Elder and Deacon, Clerk of the Session and is a Member of the Congregational Care Committee.

 
 

 

Mike Murphy, Director

      Mike is a life-long Montgomery resident, who is now retired from the State’s Medicaid Agency.  Although getting a degree in psychology from Troy University, he spent over 33 years working as a statistician and analyst.  He and his wife, Kathy, are blessed with two grown daughters and five grandchildren.  Mike came to Jesus as a teenager, enjoys singing Christian music (including Southern gospel) and attends Church of the Highlands, where he serves in the church's prison ministry.  He says, “Faith Radio has been an integral part of my life since it first came on the air.  I love the music, but really get the most from listening to outstanding teachers like Swindoll, Rogers, Jeremiah, and Ingram.”  Among his other interests are reading, hunting and woodworking.  Mike has served on numerous state-wide boards over the years and desires to honor God wherever he serves.
