Russell Dean, General Manager | email Russell
Russell Dean was born in Montgomery and grew up in Jackson, Alabama. In 1974 he married his high school sweetheart, Amy Morton. Graduating from Auburn in 1975 with a degree in Mass Communications, he didn’t know that degree would prove useful thirty years later in 2005. Russell was a high school football and baseball coach for seven years at Jackson High School. He was fortunate to be on the 1979 football staff that won the AAA State Championship. Several years later he became the sales manager with New York Life in Mobile.
After graduating from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1989, he served churches in Louisiana and Alabama before coming on board with Faith Broadcasting in February of 2005.
Russell and Amy have three grown children. Sam and wife, Sherise, live in Eclectic with daughters, Elin and Ava. He serves full time with the Alabama National Guard. Benjamin, and wife, Leslie, works for a military contractor at Fort Rucker while living in Enterprise. Emily is a math instructor at Auburn High School. She and her husband, Devin, have four children: Dean, Emma James, Preston and Brooks.
Bob Crittenden, Director of Special Projects | email Bob
Host of The Meeting House
Bob Crittenden was born in Marietta, Georgia, in the greater Atlanta area, on April 7, 1959, and remained in his hometown through 1976. When he graduated from Marietta High School, Bob departed for college at the University of Tennessee, where he earned a B.S. Degree in Communications.
While attending UT in Knoxville, he began his broadcasting career in 1978, working weekends at WKVQ, a local Christian radio station. Other stints in Knoxville included a Top 40 and Country outlet, before going “back home” to the metro Atlanta area to WYNX, a Christian station, in 1980, where he served as not only an Account Executive, but also as an announcer, and did play-by-play for high school football and basketball games.
Bob’s Alabama experience began with WDJC-FM in Birmingham in 1982, where he served as Program Director, Account Executive, and co-host of the station’s morning show. He also served as Sales Manager and Account Executive at WBAM-FM in Montgomery.
Bob arrived at Faith Radio in 1991, hosted “Morning Praise” for 13 years, and, in 2004, launched “The Meeting House”, a program of music and conversation heard weekday afternoons from 4 until 6.
In 1990, Bob married his wife, Beth, a graduate of Prattville High School and Huntingdon College in Montgomery. She teaches at Forest Avenue Academic Magnet School. Their first child, AnnaBeth, was born in 1995, and their second child, Eric, came along in 1997. Bob enjoys reading and music. Beth likes cooking, reading, and scrapbooking.
Billy Irvin, Director of Ministry Relations | email Billy
Billy Irvin and his wife, Camilla, have two married daughters, Nikki (Beau) Darley and Alissa (Slade) Parrish. He has over 12 years’ experience in radio broadcasting. Billy was born and raised in Montgomery. He graduated from Auburn University Montgomery with a degree in Business and has over 25 years of business computer technology experience.
At Faith Radio, Billy is responsible for developing the ministry through prayer, fund-raising events, speaking and emceeing at public events, while also making personal visits to churches and community events that promote Christ at work. While leading the ministry to have over $800,000 in annual gifts, Billy participates in the on-air ministry team, making remote broadcasts from throughout the listening area. Additionally, Billy leads Faith Radio's social media communications that also touches thousands of people each day through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. He regularly communicates on the air to share stories of God’s faithfulness. Billy says, “Faith Radio is a regular part of my daily life and has taught me to be a better father, husband, bible teacher, and follower of Christ. Faith Radio provides Psalm 1:2-3 …as we are ’like a tree planted by steams of water’ when we listen, learn and meditate on His word and His teachings from the music and great programs heard daily on Faith Radio.”
Billy and his wife have taught 9th graders for over 16 years at his church, where he has served in many other areas including Deacon Chairman, Building Committee, and Prayer Committee. Billy is also involved in many community organizations. He is former President of the YMCA Jimmy Hitchcock Memorial Award, a member of the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery, served on the board of the Montgomery Medical Outreach Ministries, emcees Distinguished Young Women of Alabama, and greatly enjoys participating in Alabama Raceway Ministries. He loves sports and is the public address announcer at high school football and basketball games. He loves public speaking and sharing stories to small and large audiences throughout Alabama churches, schools, banquets, and special events about how God is at work all around us.
Jeremy Smith was born in Athens, Alabama where he grew up and started his radio career at the age of 19 for a Top 40 station WZYP. He also worked for other stations affiliated with WZYP, including doing high school football play by play for sports station WUMP, and hosting a high school football highlight show for low power TV station WZTV. In 1998 he answered God’s call to use his talents in Christian radio, and joined WFIX in Florence, AL where he hosted the night show, as well as serving as the morning newsman, and did play by play for high school football. It was during his time at WFIX that he met his future wife Tiffany, and they married on May 17, 2003. Jeremy spent nearly 8 years at WFIX before he and Tiffany moved to Greenville, SC taking a position as Music Director and Afternoon Host for “The Walk,” a Christian station that was in Greenville. “The Walk” folded in 2006 and Jeremy spent the next few years working in Auto insurance until God opened the door for him to return to Christian radio and join the Faith Radio family. Jeremy now lives in Montgomery with his wife Tiffany, their daughter Ariana and son Callen.
Kelly Treadwell, Editor, On-Air Personality | email Kelly
Host of FaithSongs
Kelly Treadwell is the host of FaithSongs and writes for and edits the Ministry Magazine and monthly newsletters for Faith Radio. She was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, where she lives with her husband, Tommy, and their three sons, Thomas, Samuel, and James.
Kelly graduated from Auburn University, magna cum laude, in 1996 with a degree in Human Resources Management. She was involved in numerous leadership roles at Auburn, including serving as Miss Auburn, the University’s official hostess. Following graduation, she married Tommy and moved to Birmingham, where she worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, while he attended Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. During that time, Kelly earned her Masters in Business Administration from Samford University. She and Tommy later returned to Montgomery, where Kelly worked as a sales representative for Johnson and Johnson. After the birth of their first son, Kelly left the workforce to serve at home full-time. They were eventually blessed with two more sons.
For the past fifteen years, Kelly and Tommy have had an active ministry to young married couples, including leading marriage and family-oriented classes, small group studies, and marriage conferences. They are active members of Montgomery’s First Baptist Church, where they teach junior high Sunday School, are involved in marriage and family ministry, and serve in a variety of other ways.
In her free time, Kelly enjoys carpooling, mowing the lawn, cleaning the pool, watching sports, taking care of her dog Gracie, and generally trying to maintain her sanity in a house of three boys.
Ramona Henson, Graphic Design Coordinator

Ramona was born and raised in Montgomery in the Christian home of Andrew and Julia Carr. She is a graduate of Carver High School and attended Auburn University and Auburn University at Montgomery, majoring in Visual Arts with an emphasis in Computer Graphic Design. She has used her talent as a graphic designer at a local advertising agency, printing company and in her own business before joining the Faith Radio team as the Graphic Design Coordinator in March 2006.
She and her husband Geoff have lived in Louisiana, Guam and South Carolina while serving the USAF before returning home to Montgomery. They are the proud parents of one very talented son, Zach.
Jesus came into Ramona’s heart at the early age of six and was baptized one week later on her seventh birthday. God later spoke to her through a revival evangelist, who communicated the gospel with chalk drawings as he preached the message. She envisioned through those messages that God, the Grand Designer, would later use her passion for art and design to share His perfect love for His glory and His purpose.
Kim Sauce, Office Manager | email Kim
Kim Thrasher Sauce is serving Faith Radio as Office Manager. She was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama and has lived and worked here most of her life. She attended Jefferson Davis High, and is a college graduate from Auburn University in Montgomery with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She is blessed that her diversified work experience as Engineering Work Controller, Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, and Community Educator, equipped her to be suited for this position with Faith Radio.
Kim is married to Louisiana native, Cameron Sauce. He presently works for Access Information Management in Montgomery. Kim and Cam are proud parents of two incredible young men, C.J. and Nicholas, who they love and enjoy thoroughly.
Kim is an active member at Frazer United Methodist Church where she attends Women In Christ Sunday School Class. Kim is very blessed to be a part of Faith Radio’s ministry and family. She is thankful and continues to grow more aware of God's perfect love and grace. Blessings flow abundantly by hearing His Word daily and staying Christ focused keeps her hungry for more. Resting in His Grace and Love is her happy place and highly recommends it!
Kim Hendrix, host of Shine | email Kim
Kim Hendrix is someone who for more than 20 years, came into your living room on a regular basis delivering the news on WSFA-12-News.
She changed careers in order to have more time with her family. In the spring of 2010, Kim accepted the position of Development Director at Saint James School in Montgomery where her daughter Annie attends. Kim holds the position of Director of Media Ministries at Frazer Memorial UMC, where she works to effectively use all means of communicating God’s word--from television to print and social media. Kim is happily married to Scott Skoneki.
Kim stays involved in the community and in ministry. She helped develop a praise and worship service at Frazer UMC called “Shine Your Light” and she writes a regular monthly column in River Region Journey magazine called “Shine”. She also served as a lay member on the Board of Ordained Ministry for several years; the Board of Magic Moments and is active on the Board of Montgomery County Distinguished Young Women. She also served as chair of “Women of Influence”; and has served as a spokesperson for HBDA-Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorders of Alabama.
Kim enjoys working to build up our community, believing if we all pull together and use the resources and contacts God has allowed us to develop over the years, great things happen!
